Show us your RV-10 Panel

= remote fuses that are not replaced during flight was my choice).
You might note that, technically, this is not legal for night flight (your op limits surely say you must follow 91.205(b) for night operations, and that says ‘fuses accessible in flight’). Now, what the actual risk is, I’m not in a position to say.

They're accessable, but don't take up prime panel real estate. I don't plan on fiddling with them in the air.

Thanks for answering my question, now how much did the panel cost out-the-door
As much as I would love to give you a straight answer, there are simply too many variables at play. Do you consider antennas, ELT, stick grips, exterior lights, CO detector, oxygen systems, etc... as "part" of the panel? :) A considerable percentage of the expense is also behind / off the panel, were more options arise (XM, CO detector, servos, antennas, remote radios / audio panel, pitot tube, GAD-27, VPX, GHA-15, IBBS, switch type, etc..) We have an RFQ link on our homepage if you'd like a more tailored estimate!

Generally speaking, a dual G3X / 750Xi RV-10 prebuilt panel will run you in the 55k-70k range.

More eye candy.

I didn’t build the plane it was completed in 2014 by a well known member of VAF, CharlieWaffles (Mark) I purchased his plane 11/23.

The TT AP was becoming intermittent and needed to be replaced. The panel needed a few other upgrades it had GTX 327 and NavWorx.

Instead of the apparent choice, the Dynon AP, I decided to go the route of the Garmin AP I fly behind the G3X system in my 8a and it’s rock solid.

The Advanced EFIS and engine, monitor are also rock solid so as of now I see no reason to upgrade to a complete G3X. I’ll wait until the new Garmin PFD screens come out then decide if it’s worth making the change.

Along with the AP, I also upgraded

Legacy 750 to an XI.

The PSEngineering PAR100ex to PAR200B

The GTX327 to the GTX345.

I kept the NavWorx for ADSB on the main screen, and now have ADSB on the 750ix through the 345.

Advanced doesn’t have XM capabilities so I kept the XM receiver mounted under the panel.

Hey Tim,
Is it too early for you to comment on the comparison with the GTN 750 Vs GTN750 Xi ?
I have a 11 year old GTN750 that has just replaced its keep alive battery and looked briefly at the Xi .
Sticker shock here in Australia is that a new 750 Xi is $32,000.00 AUD plus gst !!!!

I couldn't justify a 32k upgrade, I was able to do a unit upgrade for 6k. The xi screen resolution is almost double the pixel. Viewing from an angle is much better then the 750. The boot up time and processor are much faster. The best upgrade in my opinion is the turn knob works the map zoom and data base's are stored in the GTN.
Sarasota Avionics in FL offers the 6k trade in.
