I have a similar. No noise. Look for QC and PD. Metal shell helps keep noise down too.I installed a charger similar to this about 3 years ago. It works great and no RF noise.

Does anyone have one they have used that works well that you just drop in to a lighter socket that is a combo. I really don't want to rewire the lighter socket just yet. I have a couple of things I use it for.
Not to be negative but hopefully you have something going to your EFIS that gives you not only visual cues but audible alerts (CAS) that you have an issue. With a modern EFIS you can get pre-warnings for both voltage and amperage irregular readings from alternators. Electrically dependent engines need lots of monitoring that the magnetos really did not.From my Pursuit boat: One quick glance and I know if my Alternator is working, could be really helpful when the Lycoming is electrically dependent. Don't ask how I know!
