I’ve been thinking on how I’m going to get this task done tool wise with small space and contorted access and big hands. Then this tool jumped off the shelf at HF and into my hands!’

Hard to see in 2d but it articulates at that elbow and at the ratchet point.image.jpg

I had a difficult time too. I asked my friend 14 yrs old kid to start the nuts and it was easy to torque the bolts after all the nuts were started.

I asked Ken Krueger how hard it was to bolt the HS on after the tops skins and bulkheads were done, he said it’s doable, so I’m trusting him. Plus, I have a skinny wife who has suddenly become interested in helping me get this airplane flying!🤣

I don't have an RV-8 or a HS to bolt on but I want that tool. :D

Very helpful! My experience is that they don't always stay skinny, so have a plan B. 🤣 If you want to keep her happy, be ready to throw a lot of pillows or old sofa cushions back there when she goes in. And do it on a cool day.
