Two days ago I went to Pottstown Pennsylvania to pick up my new two me RV – 12. It’s now happily sitting in my hanger in Central Maine at the Central Maine airport. It was a great flight for a first flight in the RV. I flew for one hour and stopped in Danbury Connecticut for fuel. Then I flew for two hours and landed at my home airport in central Maine. It was a CAVU day and I had approximately 30 knots on the tail for the entire trip. At one point I could look to the east and see the Atlantic Ocean about 60 miles out and also look to the west and see Mount Washington, also about 60 miles out. I will have a few questions I’m sure moving forward but my first one is about the gas cap. i’ve adjusted the nut on the back of the gas cap but no matter how I adjust it, I can’t get the handle to lay flat. I do believe the gas cap is nice and tight and won’t fall out, but I would like to get the handle to lay flat. Any suggestions?
