I am always surprised how my photos of glacier flying in Alaska look just like flying in Norway. Just a different language down below. An RV is a magic carpet.Hei guys
My wife and I are on our yearly two weeks flying holiday. Because of the hot temperatures around the mediterranean sea (around 33°C/91F) we went north. One of the goals of many european flyers is to fly around north cape, the northern most point of european mainland. But my goal was the lofoten in Norway, just one hour short of north cape. A beautiful archipelago high up in the north. And Norway
is spectacular anyway with its mountains and glaciers down to the sea. Although can be challenging weatherwise because all the weather from the atlantic sea will hit the norwegian coast. With some encouragement of Dan57 we dared to use a weather window and headed north. And it was worth it! The Lofoten are above the polar circle, so the sun never goes down these days. We hiked and enjoyed nature for three days before heading south and into Sweden
. Right now we are spending time in a tiny house on Gotland, an island in the baltic sea. Here some impressions.
