...worked side jobs (Fri night sim - Sat SIC duty). Sun recovery, Mass and VAF keyboard tasks. A working weekend w/no RV sadly.
About to launch off FTW a BEAUTIFUL blue rocket landed in front of us. Guessing based at FTW. Stunning!!!!! RVs all around - me in none of them. :^(
FBO from the 50's (awesome wood panel walls and a couch from the 70's - it really was pretty cool). Had a 9-pin OKI Microline 184 Turbo dot matrix printer still in use. Think I sold these as an assistant manager at Micro City in Irving, TX back in the late 80's. Flying just a dream and PPL a decade away.
Multiple RVs in the pattern at T67 as we were turning final back home. Monitoring on COMM 2 ;^)
Back on the ramp at FTW the sun shone through the old American Airways hangar. Didn't suck. 500kn GS coming back at FL330 didn't stink either.
At destination....nice day in and around TX.
