Wapsi Aero...anyone using this EIS

I have the first generation GRT EIS. I want to upgrade my system and came across the "plug and Play" Wapsi Aero unit. It looks really nice and has plenty of features. I just want to know if anyone has installed this in their RV. I have a Lycoming IO360 with constant speed prop. Thanks!

I'm investigating this right now too, and also have an IO360 w cs prop, I'll post what I find out, sent a message to Wapsi this morning.

I really like my GRT, but this is a good example of what can happen if a company continues to sell 30:year old technology without offering new updated equipment as in the case of the EIS-4000, 6000.

It should be noted that this unit is missing fuel flow, tach #2, audio out, and limited Aux inputs. Official supported engines 912UL, 912 ULS. Lycoming not mentioned.

Compatible Engines

The engine monitor officially supports the following engines:

Rotax:912 UL
912

I'm interested in what you would get from the Wapsi Aero unit that the GRT EIS doesn't provide, outside of the Wapsi display looking really good. I think a lot of installations just use the GRT EFIS to display engine data and try to hide the EIS 4000 output.
