Monday I pulled out some unused (but old….like 15 years….) Aeroquip -8 metal-jacketed rubber hose and a handful of re-usable hose fittings I had on hand, and started fitting the oil cooler hoses on the Rocket. Tuesday I finalized the ends and lengths , taking a couple of pictures with metal rules in the background. Sent those to Tom Swearengen Tuesday night. This morning (Friday), new integrated fire sleeved Teflon liner hoses showed up on the morning Pony Express run - and of course, they look and fit great! For smaller hoses (fuel and instrument lines) I generally find the appropriate length using spare poly pitot/static tubing, but for the big oil lines (especially with ninety-degree ends) I find that isn’t very accurate in close quarters. This used up the old stock hose I had on hand….now I just have to figure out how I happened to have ninety-degree reusable ends on hand….?

These guys are the bomb when it comes to a quality product as well as best-of-class customer interaction. In an era of call trees and annoying AI "directions" - we have old-fashioned personal attention. Remarkable! They will do right by you - has been my personal experience.
 
I think I've bought just about every piece of kit they sell for the RV-14. Great quality and fantastic service!
 
Tom was a huge help when I was figuring out how to the heck I was going to plumb my off the reservation engine installation. And of course after all the cussing and discussing was done, he crafted hoses that bolted right up and were real pieces of art.

Those guys are awesome.
 
Used them for all my hoses. And they also do great work for instrument panels. Fantastic service and great products!
