Here's a good reason to build a 9A instead of a 9. The 9A gives you a place to set up your lawn chairs in the shade to watch the airshow when it's 90 degrees out.

Here is the obligatory RV grin from the first flight of my RV-10 project, Plans # 41819 (In this picture you can also see my Cessna forehead scar. On first-flight day I walked right into the trailing edge of our Cessna 140 while head-down getting the GoPro fired up. Ouch!)

Wow, glider tows in a Champ. Must have been an experience! I did the TW endorsement in a Champ, and flew a Pawnee with 235 hp towing gliders for a few years. When it came time to choose an RV model, I wanted to build a -14. Definitely some disadvantages like insurance but for me, more fun...

Filtered air box gasket part number?
Anyone know what the part number is for this air box plate gasket? It is attached to the bottom of a Marvel-Schebler MA4-5 carb attached to an O-360. I’m hoping that I can find one at the local auto parts store.
