Hope you had a nice weekend and enjoy today's edition - so much RV info I split it into two posts. Hot damn it felt nice to take the RV-6 for a local spin on Saturday morning. Dang enjoyable. I’ve got a pretty clobbered week/weekend coming up, so I might be in and out of comms. Apologies.
Have a great Monday.

You may want to tie the the tail down when in the two point position. Tail is very light with the wings off.

Starter relay amp draw
Finishing up on firewall electric. Trying the setup out. Master switch to ground works fine closing relay giving 12V. Then ran the 12v to starter relay. It worked as it should, had 12V coming out. However, It was drawing 3.3 Amps. Question: Is this normal or do I have something

Uneven mixture distribution with carburetor.
O320-E2A installed in rv6. Wide open throttle 13-13.5 gallons per hours. Pretty even cht’s and egt’s. As soon as I come off WOT throttle cylinder 3 and 4’s egt’s rise substantially while cylinders 1 and 2 stay relatively cooler. I’ve checked and replaced intake boots and gaskets with no change...
