Show us your panel !!!!!

There are two file formats that you can download from Vans, DXF or IGES. In either case you end up with the outline shape only, not a parametric model. If you have created a .SLDPRT Solidworks Part, then all you have to do is create an Extruded Boss/Base to make the extension you want. I would create it across the bottom straight edge so that you can make the 90 degree bottom flange in one operation.

Thanks, I’ll give that a try!

My first try at custom fiberglass work came out better than I hoped.
Inspired by Laird Owens design and Dan Horton amazing fiberglass work.

My panel came in today from Advanced Flight Systems.
I went single Dynon screen for now. To save a bit I picked up a used 430 from here earlier this year for my nav/comm/gps.

Wish I had known they were coming out with the remote gps navigator. Would have altered my layout a bit.

Behind the panel is their ACM and wire harnesses.
The clock came from my late grandfathers Grumman Yankee that sadly got donated to an A&P school cause it was too far gone.
