The directions have you glue it to the aft side of the canopy frame. May not be easy to break this bond depending on what was used.We would like to cover our glareshield with some dark fabric to minimize reflection. It appears that it’s held in place by two pop rivets. Can these be drilled out and the glareshield easily removed and reinstalled. Anyone have any insight on this?
Yes, mine is a 2015 E-LSA and I ordered it from Van’s.Is there a glare shield for my 2015 EAB?
Awesome, do you have the part number? I looked through all the parts for RV-12 on Van's website and didn't see it.Yes, mine is a 2015 E-LSA and I ordered it from Van’s.
Nevermind, the glare and shield go together 'glareshield' for the search...Yes, mine is a 2015 E-LSA and I ordered it from Van’s.
Cover it with black fabric if you dont want glare on the canopyI just received a glareshield I had ordered from Van’s. It had a sticker and instructions from Showplanes, which is apparently where Van’s sources them. The Showplanes website shows them at $30 less than Van’s, but they are currently out of stock there.
