jimzap Member Patron May 14, 2026 #1 The socket head screw, used to mount the wheel fairing bracket, protrudes significantly into the area of the tire. Is this normal or did I mess something up again? This protrusion is even with the locking and flat washer under the screw head. JZ

bruceh Well Known Member Friend May 14, 2026 #4 I fabricated a spacer from some tubing and bought a longer screw so that it sticks out further to better engage with my tow bar. Be sure the put some loctite on the threads so you don’t lose the screw (I did).
