Two questions:
- purpose of these screws? It appears they are to limit the castering of the nose wheel. I’ve been around RV-10s but never pushed one back. I always assumed the nose wheel castered a full 360 degrees. Maybe not.
- more important, are we to locktite these screws? There is no mechanism for safetying them in place. Locktite isn’t generally an AC43-13 endorsed method but when we have miscellaneous screws like these without nylocks, cotter pins, or safety wire are we supposed to put some sort of thread lock on? I expected Section 5 to say something but didn’t find it.
