Nose fork screws

Two questions:
- purpose of these screws? It appears they are to limit the castering of the nose wheel. I’ve been around RV-10s but never pushed one back. I always assumed the nose wheel castered a full 360 degrees. Maybe not.
- more important, are we to locktite these screws? There is no mechanism for safetying them in place. Locktite isn’t generally an AC43-13 endorsed method but when we have miscellaneous screws like these without nylocks, cotter pins, or safety wire are we supposed to put some sort of thread lock on? I expected Section 5 to say something but didn’t find it.

The screws are to limit travel in conjunction with the bracket above the screws. I’m not at home, so don’t have the part number. In addition there is a service bulletin on the proper installation you can obtain from Vans website.
