Manual Vernier Trim Threads

I'm planing to convert to electric trim and as part of that going I'm to make an adapter for the Ray Allen T3-12A. I'm going this route in the event I don't like the electric trim and I can easily swap it back and forth between them without changing the cable. However, what are the threads closest to the cable attach ball (it's smaller than the one with the jam nut)? The major diameter of the threads is about .678" and looks about 16 threads per inch. It seems a size between a 5/8" and 3/4". Are these Metric or British threads?

Grab the part you removed that has the FM threads and head to the hardware store to find a match.... you might get lucky.

It appears to be an 11/16-16 which I wasn't able to check as no hardware store around me carries such a nut.

Ask around for someone that has an old cable that you can salvage the top from and re-purpose it.

I decided to go a different route and repurpose the manual vernier bore and use your current cable. It's the least invasive way to convert from a manual trim to electric trim and you can easily switch back. I was thinking of offering this as a kit after I get it working.
