Inflight Oil Pressure

Curious as to what oil pressure you see at cruise power settings on an iS. I have 24 hours on mine and I am seeing 65-67 which is the top of the green.

I have early SN RV-12 ULS w/ 1030TT for data point.... I see 50 psig with oil temp at 195F.

Couple of additional data points needed. Ambient air temp and Oil temperature? What oil and viscosity are you running? Should be XPS 5W-50 or AeroShell Sport Plus 4 10W-40 per SI-912 i-001R13 / SI-912-016R18. If the above are all normal, owner's manual suggests check ECU data for info / maintenance check if high oil pressure limit is exceeded. Make sure you burp well before checking oil level as well, and oil vent line is open so overfill can blow out.

Today I was finally able to fly. 5000 rpm, Oil press 67, temp 190 and OAT 62. After burping oil showed the top mark on stick after flight it showed 3/16" above the bottom mark. This is the 12iS model. It just seems to me the pressure is a little high, although its still in the green by a few degrees.

I now have 30 hours on mine and it’s getting similar numbers. At takeoff power it gets right up to the top of the green range but doesn’t exceed. At 4000 rpm in cruise it’s still about 55 psi. I have the iS engine.

Here's how my oil temp/pressure looked on a flight a few days ago.
