Fuel Pressure Transducer

N87TB

I'm New Here
The Skyview HDX in my RV-12 is showing a red "X" over the fuel pressure indicator. I have checked all the connections and they all seem sound. As a result, I am planning to buy a new fuel pressure transducer. I have been on the Van's site, the Lockwood site, and the Rotax site, but cannot figure out what part number I need to buy. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.

Have you checked Dynon to see what they provide? I recall a SB on some transducers that were leaking under pressure so a different one was being offered. The carburetor equipped Rotax 912 of course used the lower pressure maybe 0-15psi. You might be better off calling Lockwood because I would be surprised if they didn’t have the correct transducer. I recently watched a webinar by Brett Lawton from Advanced Powerplant Solutions, and he offered technical & product support for Rotax, 800-532-4362. Also BuyRotaxParts.com was from this same group.

Thank you for the referral for Brett Lawton.

Before you buy a new transducer give me a call at SteinAir. I'd like to help you make sure that it is needed! If this is a new installation I would be surprised if it is a bad sensor right out of the box.

I had the same issue with the transducer. I borrowed one from someone and I still had the red x. After cycling the avionics on and off several times while working on the airplane, the red x went away and never came back.
