Flap Crank to Torque Arm Distance

Page 34-02 Step 5 has me measuring the distance between the flap crank and torque arm. It's not clear to me where on the right hand side of the attached picture do I start the measurement. Is it from the torque arm or the WH-00026 which was attached to it in an earlier step?

I took the diagram as drawn, so I subtracted the W-00026 thickness, and I also subtracted the WD-1013A thickness, so that I could measure inside to inside if that makes sense.

Don't know if that's right at this point, as I just put the left arm in last night, and don't have wings and flaps to test yet. But I will add it seems to be close enough, all the bearing blocks are lined up on non painted surfaces, and it looks like 1 or 2 16th" won't make a large difference.

The red circle is the outside edge of the WD-1013A, so you can see there is room for the bushing block there.

Thanks! That's helpful.

Im pretty sure it’s from the inside of the middle arm (the one that attaches to the flap motor). To the outside of the flap crank arm. This lets you hook a tape measure over the middle arm. I remember thinking how the Van’s guys have thought of everything.

Having said that, if it were out by a thickness of an arm (maybe 1/32) I doubt this would make much of any difference.
