I rolled the curved skins and left that area alone. If you drilled out the rivets, how would you re-rivet it with the roll bar in place?I'm working on the rear window and am trying to figure out how to roll the skin edge, then dimple the skin above the roll bar brace (see picture). Any ideas other than drilling out rivets to lift the skin?
Excellent Brian! I'm embarrassed I didn't think of that. This is what I did. Looks hokey but worked great to dimple that single hole:

Thanks Dennis. Looks very useful. You can use a blind rivet dimpler. Lots of uses for this. https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/topages/dimpltool.php
I've got one of those in a #40 but not a #27 which is what is required for that hole. You can use a blind rivet dimpler. Lots of uses for this. https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/topages/dimpltool.php
Man, I'd like to see that. That would be an impressive feat! From personal experience, if you're strong enough, handling DRDT-2 upside down to make that particular dimple is very doable.
