What was your method.............?Finished painting the flaps checker board pattern , took less time in layout and paint then I thought it would.
My method was the same as I used on the rudder, painted the white first then used 1/16 3m trim tape for layout blocked off the white sq , scuffed paint for the black used Ranthane paint. What was your method.............?
So would red, and checkerboards, give all my buddies a finish line they can't catch?SIDEBAR! For those who may not know, checkerboards do not increase speed like the color Red does.
Checkerboards simply make the airplane aerobatic!
Did you say RED.Nice job. Those look fantastic!
Now, as Mel said, you need to add a significant amount of red to the rest of your plane! You’ll be aerobatic AND FAST!!
did you have to cut individual squares or is there a pattern available?Well done!
For those considering a checkerboard pattern and who, like me, lack confidence in their painting abilities: consider vinyl from Aerographics.
Fast and acrobatic!
