Anybody know if the ignition leads for Pmag can be sourced from automotive supplier? Experience? Part number? Thanks.

Probably not at the lengths we need for Lycomings.

But you can make them yourself.

I built my own using a custom MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor wire kit and it worked out great. You can get the bulk wire, boots, and terminals from pretty much any automotive supplier (like Summit Racing or Jegs). The big trick is making sure you get the right boots for the P-mag tower ends (usually 90-degree or straight HEI-style, depending on your baffling clearance) and using a high-quality ratcheting crimp tool. Building them yourself lets you route them perfectly around your Lycoming without dealing with excess slack.
Good luck! Let us know what you end up going with.
