Is there a recommended grease/lube for the o-ring when installing a new one?

Some brake fluid on the inside of the caliper and O-ring before installation would be good Rosie

I probably did something wrong, but that $4.10 worth of "o" rings cost about $28.00. ($10.00 low order plus almost $14.00 shipping (no USPS option) -----

Look at Gary's picture above, silicone lube is a good start, but the same system brake fluid is equally good.
