Borescoping cylinders: "Gunk" on piston

Engine's got about 160 hours on it. Whenever I stick a borescope in to have a look at the inside of the cylinder, the cylinder walls and the valves seem fine and clean, but the tops of the pistons all have what I can only describe as "white gunk" on them. I've seen other borescope pictures of...

Hello, I am update the lower hing/rudder stop with SB and I had found this product, seems a bit more forgiving since its not metal hitting metal. https://flyboyaccessories.com/products/internal-rudder-stop any thoughts on it, worth it?

How could you miss the switch on the left isn’t the same as the other two (no on stamp), the middle switch is crooked, and the right switch is inset more than the other two? You won’t be able to sleep for at least 3 more days after you look.

Maybe an additional day when you notice the top middle screw is also proud and not screwed until seated (notice the shadow).

OMG, you might be close to a week when you notice the top right screw is over tightened and distorting the plate since the switch is too far inset.

It’s definitely going to be a week. The top left and bottom right screws are also not set (shadows again).

If I was a betting man, I would bet the cover plate is a new replacement since the paint on some screws are chipped indicating reuse, there are no scratches on the plate, there’s dirt from use on the switches, and the wall clean is clean suggesting fresh paint so a new cover plate would be in order.

But hey, I feel your pain about the last screw.
