Primer Recommendations

I am looking for recommendations for some "touch-up" primer. One of my surfaces (factory built) in the tail section has some of the greenish primer that has flacked off. It's a small area, so I need a very small quantity. Ideally that would closely match the green primer that Van's uses. It is behind the tail cone cover, so it is not visible from the outside. A rattle can type would work, if avaialble since I don't have paint equipment.

Thanks in Advance!

Check out SEM self etching primer. I do recall they had green. Might be a match? Not a common inventory item at most stores. Go to a good Auto parts store that also sells paint to bodyshops. They typically carry SEM brand. Or you can get at Amazon.

SEM 39693 Green Self Etching Primer - 15.5 oz

Maybe hold the popcorn for another day, this inquiry wasn’t about whether or not to prime but rather what is a good option for touching up existing primer on a factory-built airframe.

I used Stewart’s Systems Eco Prime for all interior items. Waterbase, easy clean up. Sprayed some when weather permitted or foam brush or roller for cold weather work. Loved it!!! HEB1022 is just looking to match Vans green with a rattle can. I felt it safe to recommend SEM. 🤔🤔🤷
