Before I commit to this idea I’d like to get some opinions from other builders about it.
I have the GAP 26 mounting kit from Steinair that is made for mounting the device on a nonstructural inspection cover: I’m considering routing the GAP 26 tubing and wiring into the next outboard rib bay. This allows me to make all my plumbing and wiring connect well away from the aileron actuation mechanism.
Also to avoid making more holes I then installed grommet edging protector around the rib holes that space around the J channel. And ran my tubing and twisted pair through this space.
The result appears secure, organised, and tidy. I’m trying to think of any problems this may create before making it final.
Opinion please
