Tank Bracket Safely Wire

I’m getting ready to final mount the wings on my 7A project. The plans specify the AN4H bolt for the T-405/F-796A tank attach brackets be safety wired. Is there a preferred place to secure the wire? There may be multiple ways to do this and I remember seeing a post about it, but haven’t found it in my searches. I would guess a small hole is going to be drilled somewhere. Does anyone have a recommendation on how best to accomplish this?

Yep, you just don't want it to rotate on the bracket, so a small hole on that bracket is all that is needed. Do it in place so you don't inadvertently put the hole where the mating bracket will interfere with getting the wire through.

this is a great thread. it makes me aware that i didn't install safety wire at all. i "thought" that these bolts don't need it because of the nutplate.

Another question about this AN4H-6A bolt that secures the nose of the fuel tank - how tight should it be made?

I recall seeing a comment somewhere/sometime that it should not be very tight, so that the washer must be able to slip, but I can't find that reference.

Thx if you know!
