Default Panel with newly installed FlyEFII System 32 display

I've been flying with the System32 since day 1 but had a temporary panel plate with check engine lights and the fuel trim knob.

I received the controller from Robert at FlyEFII today and got it installed. The controller has a nice sturdy feel to it and tons of capability, I can't wait to take it for a test flight

Aaron,
I love the panel setup. It?s obvious you have a Showplanes FB canopy kit. I especially like the taller offset stick. The offset lower IP cutout obviously accommodates this. It looks like you have a very capable VFR setup (no apparent IFR NAV source, and although not required, only one COM?). Exactly what I would done in a safe capable VFR modern airplane.. Congratulations! I loved my FB for several reasons.

Aaron?s RV8 Fastback is the best thought out RV build I have seen. He gave me a tour the other day. Very impressive in many areas. Best I have seen.
Great job Aaron!

I adapted the RV14 stick from Tosten. It took some rework of the seat ramp. I had already cut out the panel as one of my tall guy mods.

I'm a little curious. Do you guys putting radios on the bottom of the panel have any problems with them clearing the cross-member thats just a few inches behind the panel?

Default New panel on my RV8

A move to the UK triggered the need for a few changes to my panel. The European Union requires am 8.33kHz radio, Mode-S transponder would be great and I also needed a back-up instrument for airspeed, altitude and direction. Garmin conveniently (not) changes dimensions when bringing new equipment on the market and there you have it; the need for a totally new panel. As an advantage, it meant I could make a few other tweaks to customize the panel to my needs. Here is the result. In a way a shame as it's more cluttered as the previous owner and builder kept it tidy and minimalist.
