xCruise 100 autotrim module question

spudlyhallam

I'm New Here
Hello from England
I am fitting an xcruise 100 to our RV-8 and it is a new unit and is going well. I also would like to fit an autotrim unit but have several issues.
The auto trim unit is an old version and bought it as a working unit.

The two issues we have and really could do with some help are
1. What do the two small switches do on the side ?
I have asked Bendix King but they are not supporting it and will not give any help. The manual online is for the new autotrim unit but they are not selling that anymore. If anyone has the newer version that they want to sell I am happy to buy it.

2. Does anyone have a copy of the old manual for the Autotrim they updated the manual at version C so need the earlier one my unit has a 2007 stamp on it.
I have the diagram below but really could do with the manual to support the wiring as the new manual refers to an external LED but the wiring does not show it.

So if anyone can help with information or selling me new version unit I would be super grateful as the installation is on hold really until I can resolve the issue.

Cheers from England
James

Hi so I have found the installation manual which shows the switches so if anyone wants it contact me via this with you email address and I will send it
What the manual shows is that the older units used a link trim sensor.
Does anyone know if the new autopilot head units have removed the need for this? I have read somewhere about it.

Still looking for a newer unit!

Cheers James
