WTB RV8 Three Lever Throttle Quadrant

I would really recommend that you go with the "deluxe" quadrant from Dayton Murdock (DJM manufacturing). The difference is remarkable, and worth every penny of the extra cost. You can buy Dayton's quadrants at ACS as well as the Vans website. Dayton is an RV-4 owner and has supported Vans builders with great accessories for a long time.

If you decide you want the standard one that comes from Vans, I'm happy to give you mine that came off of the -8 I bought. Just pay shipping and keep donating to Doug ;) . With that said, as said before, upgrading is the way to go. But if you like Free better just send me a PM.

I've been thinking about this upgrade for a while, not a fan of the stock throttle when flying formation. Would it require replacing the cables, or is it basically a drop-in replacement? Is the formation variant considered the "Deluxe"? I've also seen some serious throttle mods (angled, full grip style) that look nice, so appreciate any insights from those that have done this on their -8!

It is a drop-in replacement.
The lever guides and friction adjustment are done much better. It works very smoothly. It is way better for formation where smooth, precise throttle work is needed.

Hey all — I've got a Dayton Murdock CT83F "Deluxe" quadrant sitting in surplus that I'm looking to move.
Already reached out to Ten4teg, but no reply yet — so opening it up to anyone interested.
Asking $200 (retail is $300) — discounted because the hole for the rear throttle attach point is already drilled, so it's ready to go for the right setup.
Happy to send pics, hop on a FaceTime, or answer any questions so you can buy with confidence. Just drop a comment or shoot me a DM.
