Wonkie fuel pressure

My 2013 RV-12 show great fuel pressure…. Then doesn’t! For example, yesterday I was flying with a full tank of fuel. During preflight, takeoff and the first 10 minutes of cruise. The fuel pressure stayed nicely at 4.5. Then, with no change to any airplane configuration, the fuel pressure dropped to 2.8 which is in the yellow range. It stayed there for the rest of the flight. This has happened to me on three or four flights. My fuel cap is vented and not blocked. Both my engine driven fuel pump and auxiliary fuel pump when tested both operated above 4 psi. Any ideas what could be causing this problem?

Lots of documentation on this site regarding this somewhat perplexing issue. Seems to come and go intermittently for some aircraft. Van's has a couple of Service Bulletins and Advisories discussing this issue. A higher pressure aux electric fuel pump is one action that can be taken.
