Solo time again.

After a twelve year hiatus Laura has resumed flying lessons.

She soloed our Stinson way back then, and yesterday she flew the 172 all by herself.

She says the 172 is easier than the Stinson was

Pretty special day for her.

He was a WW2 Navy pilot whose love for flying rubbed off on me! Took his navy logbook with me on the flight today. Dedicated to my dad’s memory!!!

Diane worked 17 years for Northwest Airlines in reservations ? flew all over the world.

When we had our J3-Cub she?d sit in the back seat and hang her legs out the door.

She missed the step getting out of the RV-12 and broke her ankle. Six months later she was flying again?

Here is another one that likes to fly. She always takes the road less traveled, so she wanted to get her license in the cub.

With our small kids to look after, my wife never finished her PPL, but she did solo around the 14-hour mark and completed almost all the flight test prep. When we fly together, I always let her take the controls for a bit. At least she knows how to land and navigate.

My Bride loves to fly and wants to learn what to do in case I take an extended nap. Having smart glide is great but there is a lot of moves to do after the button is pushed.
I would say having a significant other that likes to fly is not too common IMHO.
