Wing tip bump out for Nav light on RV 6 fiberglass wing tip

Need to make and install nav light bump out on RV 6 wing tip. I have damage to the fiberglass wing tip. I bough a new one from Vans but it is smooth no flat area for the nav light to mount. Does anyone know where I can buy one. I have wing tip vans part W 415 R (right side)

Have you considered using a Dremel and cutting out the existing bump out and inserting it into new hole you would cut out from the new wingtip with re-fiberglassing after you trim up the cutout? Picture is of when I made original cutout to install and fiberglass the insert.
Even better, can you not fiberglass fix the damaged wing tip.

I have the "old" tips, but this would apply to the new design as well: I had seen some nav/strobe lights just mounted on the curved side of the tip. I was not happy with that as it looked like a lazy way to put the fitting on. There was nothing back then available to fix that. I easily built up my own, so the light fitting was nearly straight up-and-down and more visible and looking like it was designed for the purpose. I cut a flat aluminum fixture-shaped base and built a fiberglass faring from the inside to support that. I might have used a buildup of clay or foam; that was a LONG time ago. Much better-looking and functional. Anything you do is going to require some fiberglass work so consider making your own. I found some old pictures. Not much has changed except they are cleaner...........

Wouldn’t it be super easy to glue on a chunk of foam with Micro, then shape it and glass over with two BID of cloth? Mount the light to that?
