Wing loading

Hey guys,
Based of my research, the RV12 has a pretty low wing loading area. I know that it’s a small aircraft, and I have yet to fly one, but for those with experience, how much do you get thrown around in rougher air versus say a Cessna 172?

I fly a Cherokee 180 and my 12. The 12 gets pushed around a lot more in turbulence.

Slowing down to 90 knots really helps out in turbulence.
