Windscreen Fairing

I seem to remember seeing an aluminum windscreen fairing someone had installed instead of the fiberglass. I couldn't find anything in the forums. Does anybody have any information on this?

I installed an aluminum windscreen fairing on my 6A. If you can get ahold of a copy of xx years of the RVator, there is an article in there that takes you through the process. I found it quite easy to do, with minimal metal working skills.
