Windscreen fairing

Has anyone out there in RV 10 land installed the ML Skunkworks aluminum windscreen fairing instead of glassing in the windscreen.
 
I have tenative plans to install the windows to resemble the installation on a Cirrus Aircraft. Its about the same as a Sportsman install. Check out the window video install for the Sportsman. The Sportsman side windows are flanged just like the 10's. The windscreen is different because the Sportsman has the bottom flange integrated in the cabin design. Thats were the Sunkwork flange could work, so the windscreen could be installed to match the side windows. Just wondering how the flange looks after the install and painted.
