Where to monitor voltage with EMS220

I have my EMS220 almost all hooked up, (I think), but have one wire to connect, yet. This is the pin #1 wire for monitoring battery voltage. Where is the best place to connect my wire to monitor voltage? The main bus inside the plane or at the source on the battery positive terminal FWF?

I have always pulled from the main buss. No potential to drain any power when Master is off.

Master

Mine is on the Master side of the copper buss firewall forward. It's actually attached to the ANL.
I have no actual buss inside. The Advanced Control Module is the buss and has no place to attach additional circuits.
