When Van's dropped the Garmin 327 xponder in favor of the Skyview 261, I think that we lost that neat little timer that was on the right side. Not a big deal, I guess, but it was kind of nice. Oh well, we will be more prepared for the new xponder regs, so I guess it is a good trade off.

The latest Skyview firmware release incorporated a programmable up/down timer .
Thanks! I had not loaded that. My understanding was that the new release was for the guys that have the ADS -B out unit. Maybe I should load it anyway.
