For the nose gear, just add weight in the baggage compartment and hang more from the tail tie-down. That'll lift the nose. On the tail tie-down, use a rope or strap to hang weights 6" above the floor. When the airplane tilts, the weights will hit the floor and the nosewheel will be off the ground.Best and safest lift/jacking up points for Rv-10?
If outside the hangar just use a tie down on the tail to hold up the nose. If inside the hangar use the tail tie down tied to just about anything, the leg of a work bench perhaps. Doesn't take much weight at all to suffice.
Flush masonry anchor in the hangar floor with an eyebolt and ratchet strap to the rear tie down. Remove eyebolt when not in use.
A 10 needs a decent weight on the tail. My body weight at the rear tiedown won’t go anywhere near getting the front wheel off the ground.
Table leg will work - if it’s bolted to the ground or weighs 200lb +
That works very well too. It is what I do to set the breakout torque.Use a low profile jack right under the pivot nut. (Pic is showing a RV 9)
