Wheel pants versions 7A

I need to replace my right wheel pant.
My 7A kit was purchase between 2002 and 2006.
Are the different versions of wheel pants/
Is the one in Vans store now the same part ?

7 and 7A kits have been shipped with the same wheel pants since introduction of the kit. The only change ever made ( maybe 3 years ago?) was molding them with grey gelcoat on the exterior instead of just raw glass / resin.

Why the change from raw fiberglass to gel coat?

Not fact, but I’d guess it’s so they can spray the finished gel coat inside the mold before shooting chopped fiber, or glass mats. This allows a smooth defect free finish regardless of bubbles etc present in the glass layup. Also makes finish sanding and paint easier.
