Worked on the 8, washed and flew the 4

Put 3.4 hours on it yesterday then changed the oil, as well as installed a Real Gasket on the oil dipstick tube. I managed to successfully use a form-a-funnel to drain the filter before removing, I had to take a picture so I’d remember how to do it next time!

Spot landing practice in the evening. Spring is just around the corner (well, in the South anyway), so time to get ready for those less-traveled destinations.

Went out and worked on my Cuban 8's and slow rolls- you can see from photo 1 that I'm improving .

Then tried out the new pup muffs- taxing to the fuel pump and back was fine, we'll see how she does next week around the pattern.

It's not an RV, but "close enough."

I flew the Rocket up to Steamboat (KSBS) on Friday to hang out with my brother and his family at my condo. Came home this morning in time to get a few things done before I sit down to watch the Super Bowl and eat a bunch of junk food!

Gotta love the utility of these planes. Turned a hair-raising 3 hour (each way), 350 mile round trip driving into a 35 minute flight... and no bad drivers or road construction to deal with!
