My 2008 RV8 arrived this week, due to weather and some tinkering I only actually flew it once. But I did learn how to remove and re-install the cowl, did the air pressure intake leak check and cleared two intake leaks, replaced plugs, got it idling like a champ. Did some clean up work on the panel, today we fly!
Wow Jeff they came out really nice! I'm right behind you. Bonded the rear sections to the "bongo" drum yesterday and started installation of the various nut-plates.
Great job.

I flew a short 20 minute trip to pick up my 8 year old nephew, and bring him home for a sleepover with my kids. I did the same thing last summer, and out of the blue a couple months ago my nephew stated "the best day of my life was when Uncle Alex picked me up and flew me home for a sleepover with George". So we did it again!
Down to KSFQ for BBQ with the Ace Copilot. Had to wait for what I think was three separate parachute drops from the same jump plane! People on the ground must have thought they were being surveilled!
I went to the Swiss EAS fly in since they were advertising free beer and food.
After which I followed @Dan57 on a couple of trips around the Alps. Dan seems to be out playing in the mountains just about every day in his RV6 HB-YLL, so I took the opportunity to capture Dan and YLL in their natural habitat. No close formation shots - the focus is the setting rather than the aeroplane.
