The instructions for preparing the frame and fitting the canopy skin start with the following:
«When the forward ribs of the Wd-716 canopy frame assembly are manufactured, the flanges do not form to the necessary 90 degrees. Use a file or belt sander to remove some material on the aft edge of the upper flange so it is 90º when checked with a square. Only the portion from the center to about 3" outboard of each hinge bracket should be modified. Outboard of that, the fuselage widens and the flange should be a little under-bent. »
Can someone point me what should be at 90° with what?
