Plans call for AN426AD4-5 rivets to be used to attach the WD-1002 and WD-1003 firewall brackets to the firewall. They seem a little short. Anybody use anything longer?

WD-1002 /1003 angle bracket ?

I don't remember using anything different than what the plans called for, when riveting those brackets. However, I suppose I could have. Measure the rivet tail, while installed, and check that its length is correct. My rivet gauge has this feature, which is nice, and I always check proper length before riveting. Most of the time, the Vans callouts are correct.
