VS Skin vinyl prior to final drilling

I missed a small point about removing the vinyl prior to clecoing and final drilling the VS skin to the VS skeleton. Is there an issue with leaving vinyl in place when final drilling then removing it when deburring?

I don't see a problem as long as it's removed before the next steps. Debris tends to collect around the holes under the vinyl. I prefer getting rid of it. Wipe with solvent to remove and residue and red markings.

The most important point is not to dimple with vinyl around the hole. You'll crush chips into the surface.

I would be worried that the vinyl thickness (if on the inside of the skin) may make the holes not line up correctly after match drilling. .
