Hi all, I've been out of the loop on this stuff for quite a while. It seems like this time of year was always happening with a variety of events, some on the same weekend. I know that Love Landing is hosting their event this Saturday. Do ya'll know of anything else planned? Seems like the Flying W, Bob White, Wahoo, and others all had events during these nice fall days. Thanks!

On FB, there is a group called "Florida Fly In’s" that places routinely publish local events. Many of the upcoming ones were already called out. There is an event at LAL next week that seems to be trying to replace the old light sport event from Sebring and Deland. There is a monthly pancake breakfast in Arcadia in addition to the Taco Tue.

I'm interested to know also. Smooth enough for a 9A?
Been a year, but smooth enough back then. There are some hard sandy patches. Overall not triple tree or Grassroots, but on par with Crystal River. Arcadia is a bit nicer. I think there are a few RV A models that operate out of there.

Thanks, flew into Love's this last weekend felt that it was very smooth and well kept.

never seen any grass in FL that i didnt like. The thing about Loves field is if you catch the beginning of runway 36 on the down side of the hill that feels like your snow skiing. Beware the downhill slope at loves field.
