ULPower engine

I consider using the ULPower 260
Its cheaper and it is build in Belgium.
Does anybody knows if:

- the standard RV-12 cowl has the width to accommodate 655mm
- do the air inlets of the standard cowl (reasonably) match the
entrance of the ULPower standard airboxes
- can the ULPower be hung in the RV-12 engine mount

The Rotax 912 engine, the stock for the RV12 is 576mm across at the rocker covers. Everything else would be custom. UL may have an adaptive mount for the RV12.

UL Power RV-12

I installed the UL Power 350is 130 hp in my RV-12 this year. It cruises at 145 MPH TAS at 8000 ft, 22" MAP / 6.4 GPH.
In fact, I just got back from a three-week adventure flying all over the southwest - 32 happy hours flying! Love it!
I bought the motor mount and cowl from Ray Lawrence of Kaolin Aviation -
a UL Power Sales and Service Center. *(478) 232-9560‬
PM me if you want to hear how to save a little on the engine itself :)

I am building an RV-12iS with a ULPower 260. They have a firewall forward package that includes engine mount and cowl. I just subtracted the Cowling and engine mount off my vans order.

Motor mount and cowling

Who are “they” who sold you the mount and cowling?

I bought the motor mount and cowl from Ray Lawrence of Kaolin Aviation -
a UL Power Sales and Service Center here in the USA. 1+(478) 232-9560.
