I'd like to ask for some folks to take a look at my elevator/trim tab work here to see if I did this right.
The first picture here is the tabs. I think they came out fine but I'd like more experienced eyes:
My dimple die put a little bump in the underside...about the time I remembered I have the smaller female die...
This is the gap that closed up on my after I riveted the hinge to the elevator. Looking for ideas on how to widen this back up. No rubbing right now but I'm guessing there needs to be more gap:
Finally, two pictures of the underside of the trim tab. Gap at outboard edge and inboard edge. Is this what they are supposed to look like? Plans don't seem to say.
Outboard edge with top edge of tab flush with elevator:
Inboard edge in full down travel interfering with rivets. Is the travel of the trim tab supposed to go this far. Do I need to modify this in any way?
Thank you for the help. This is apparently about the point in the build process where the plans start to leave more up to you figuring things out...
