Tried one out

This is the RV-10 I flew today after all these years. It was purchased by a local who has been flying it a lot. VFR and carburated; I found it very pleasant and straight-forward to fly and with gentle stall and slow-flight characteristics. I know this isn't big news but I'm glad to experience it myself.

Very nice to fly a fast 4 seat airplane that doesn't feel like "pigs in space;" not so nice to fly with foam stick grips. I sure prefer the the first movement move the controls not compress some foam.

Like you Larry, I have enjoyed the opportunities I have had to fly -10's - they sure beat any other four-seat single for handling and enjoyability. I am not a fan of foam stick grips either - but then, I frequently just grab the stick below the grip in a lot of planes anyway...
