Touch-up Paint?

The RV12 I bought back in July has a few small nicks in the paint that I'm wanting to touch up. I have some automotive white touch up paint that looks very close to the white on my plane. Would that be appropriate? I'm not looking for a show room finish, just something to stop corrosion from happening.

The exterior skins are alclad and won’t corrode unless in extreme conditions. I think vlad has flown over a decade with NO paint. Anything that sticks is appropriate for cosmetic repair.

Matterhorn white is a very common color on airplanes. Many options on the link below. I picked up one of the small auto touch-up tubes from O’Reilly auto parts, and it worked well for small spots.
